Hot Iron Days 2013

The 9th Annual Lamberton Hot Iron Days will be held Friday & Saturday, September 6-7, 2013.

The schedule of events will be posted here soon. It should be very similar to the 2012 schedule, which can be found here.

The 2013 T-shirt design is also in the works....check back to see what they will look like!

5-9pm Library Book Sale Preview in Conference Room of new Ambulance Building

6pm until food is gone - BBQ's - behind Black Smith Shop (sponsored by Lamberton Commercial Club)

7pm until gone - Popcorn & Glowsticks (sponsored by Lamberton Swimming Pool Committee)

10pm Iron Pour "Sparks Under the Stars" - behind Blacksmith Shop

Saturday, September 8

All Day "Ageless Iron" Display of tractors, machinery, cars - Douglas Street

8-11am Class on Mold Building* (a.k.a. Sand Shop) - City Park

8-11am Rolls, Fresh Fruit & Beverages - City Park (sponsored by Lamberton Swimming Pool Committee)

8am Medallion Hunt (clues every 2 hours, posted on back of Blacksmith Shop)

9am 5K Run/Walk (8:30 registration, $3 entry fee)

8:30am Sand Volleyball Tournament (contact Susan Jeckell for info, 507-822-1322)
10am Digital Scavenger Hunt (hosted by RRC FCCLA) <-- New Addition!

10am-4pm Blacksmithing Professionals - Blacksmith Shop

10am-4pm Library Book Sale in Conference Room of new Ambulance Building

4pm Iron Pour - behind Blacksmith Shop

*Cost of mold building is charge for materials used:
$10 for a basic plaque mold
$1 per pound for larger molds
